Today, we've got someone special special lined up as  We're diving into the world of African drumming with none other than Jimi Dale.

Jimi Dale has been a trailblazer in bringing African music to New Zealand, teaching African drum and dance classes in Auckland and beyond since 1995. Lately, he's been diving deep into the sounds of the Kora, letting his passion for music lead the way. Jimi's all about creativity—whether it’s singing, drumming, dancing, or storytelling. You might’ve caught him performing with his band, Tamani, a world music and dance group he founded that’s lit up stages at events all over the country. For Jimi, there’s nothing better than seeing how African drumming brings people together—how a simple beat and melody can get everyone up and dancing.

So, grab a drink, get comfy, and join us as we explore the incredible journey of a man who’s been keeping the drumbeat alive for decades.
